About

Rosie Writing Space has been my pride and joy since 2009.Rosie Writing Space is a place where I share my take on the creative lifestyle.

This blog is a friendly environment where creative people, like you, can be reminded that they're not alone in their everyday struggles to be creative while making it in the "real" world.

I've always been a writer, and this blog has always been my way of unraveling how I can use that part of my identity to find a place in this weird and wonderful world. Although I've figured out how to turn my passion into a business, I still feel like there's so much left to learn.

Join me as I navigate my way through the ups and downs of being a creative person, and feel free to subscribe while you're reading any blog posts that get your attention.

Pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee, take a sip or two, and kick back in a comfy chair, to truly appreciate the spirit of the Rosie Writing Space experience.

Just in case we haven't met...

Hello, I'm Rosemary, AKA Rosie, a content creator, editor, and strategist that's developed B2C and marketing web and blog content for sites such as ProBlogger, Stories By Buffer, Narcity Media, Yellowpages, and BeFunky Inc.

Sometimes I do my work, from the comfort of my kitchen table in Toronto, and sometimes I work while traveling with and without my significant other, a fellow freelancer.

It's important to keep in mind that my story is not exactly different from other, creative people because it's never easy or glamorous.

To be a creative person, a truly creative person that produces good work, you have to face so much rejection and so many people who don't really get your creative vision.

If that sounds like you, I want you to know that I've been there, and I continue to face those challenges sometimes. Not to mention, that's a sign that you are definitely in the right place!

With this blog, I hope to give you the strength, courage, and resources to persevere regardless of how things are going.

I believe that creativity is something that deserves to thrive and grow, so get out there and create something awesome, no matter what anyone else has to say about you or your work!
